Fish Catch Results Related to Temperature and Chlorophil in Western Waters of Sumatera

The western waters of Sumatera are one the that have potential coastal and ocean resources. Oceanographic factors can be related to high productivity in SST (Sea Surface Temperature) distribution chlorophyll concentration. Sibolga geographically quite strategic, because they located Indian Ocean, most catch is landed at Nusantara Fisheries Port. This Study aims understand trend fluctuations fish catches Waters Western Sumatera, examine effect on West Sumatera. Sea surface temperature monthly chlorophyll-a concentrations were obtained from result Aqua Modis months 2021. Monthly data fishing results composition which PPN 2021there three dominant species, namely Cakalang (Katsuwonis Pelamis) 11.655.768 Kg, Layang (Decapterus Sp) 4.589.147 (19,95%), Tembang (Sardinella sp) 2.421.523 (10,53%), variation per unit (CPUE) ;anded Highest occurred may 3.809 kg/trip lowest November 1.521,58 average CPUE 2021 was 5.105,88kg/trip. variations sea for 12 (2021) August, 26,88 0C while highest February 30,92 0C, consentration May 1,56 mg/m3 March 0,15 mg/m3.
